Abstract

Baruch de Spinoza adhered to a naturalistic species perspective, which is ontological. Identically, he adhered to an immanent species perspective, which is epistemological. In conformity with the first, nature is an all-embracing totality, which means that it is an absolutely infinite totality, to which no species of reality is alien.
